Life-threatening, acute lower gastrointestinal hemorrhage as the first presentation of Crohn’s disease

Abstract

Most patients with Crohn's disease usually present with mild gastrointestinal bleeding, and severe GI hemorrhage is rare. We report a case of a young male who presented with life-threatening lower gastrointestinal hemorrhage as the first manifestation of Crohn's disease.
