Biography
Emilija Jasovic-Siveska was born on 8th October, 1970 in Bitola, Macedonia. She married and have two children. She finished primary and secondary (high) school in Bitola with excellent marks. She finished her study at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade (October 1989- June 1995). She passed Postgraduate studies of Human Reproduction (Master of Medical Science) in 2000 at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. The theme was “The importance of ultrasonographic parameters in the diagnosis of fetal endangerment in pregnancy with hypertensive syndrome”. Specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Institute for Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Clinical Center of Serbia in Belgrade, she passed with the highest mark in December 2000. She defended her doctor’s dissertation (PhD) of medical sciences on the 26th September 2011 at the Faculty of Medicine University of Belgrade, on the theme “Clinical-laboratory and ultrasonographic diagnostic to assessment endanger mother and fetus in pregnancy induced hypertension”. Professional experience includes: Health Center “St. Luka” , Smederevo, Serbia, Medical Doctor in General Practice (1995-1996). Institute for Gynecology and Obstetrics, Clinical Center of Serbia, Belgrade (1996-2000) School of Nursing, University St. Clement of Ohrid of Bitola, Macedonia, Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics (2005-2009, and 2016-presence) and Head of Department for Midwives (2007-2008) Private practice in Offices for Gynecology and Obstetrics Bitola, Macedonia (2001-present) She has a member of the Macedonian Chamber of Medicine, Macedonian Scientific Society, Ian Donald School, European School of Oncology etc. Also, she has a member of the Commission for Professional Supervision of the Macedonian Chamber of Medicine. In 2018, the Ministry of health, as suggested by the Chamber of Medicine of The Republic of North Macedonia, awarded her with the title Primarius. Her scientific contribution accounts for more than 80 scientific and professional articles and presentations in the fields of Gynaecology and Obstetrics. She has the author of the textbook “Gynecology and Care” for students. Some of her articles were published in the journals indexed in Current Contest and Science Citation Index. Her papers have been cited more than 200 times in articles, books chapters, master theses and doctoral theses. She continuously attend CME, congresses and conferences in the field of Gynecology, Obstetrics, Perinatology and Fetal medicine and therefore she own a large number of certificates.
