Biography

Penny Kessler completed BS from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. Also, MN from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. DNP with minor Integrative therapies from University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN. She handled a  project "Validation of Integrative Nursing Guideline" written with Professors Karen A Monsen and Mary Jo Kreitzer. She has been a registered nurse for 38 years in adult health and illness in specialty areas such as oncology/hematology, MICU, PACU, ER, staff education, and same day surgery. She is currently working at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing in the BSN and MN nursing programs.
